Nice video with many useful details, and a focus on aesthetics of line. Question: Was that white caulk you like Sabatack 720 or one of their other products? Thank you!

Personally, the most important part of this series (besides the actual instruction) was the fact that you MUST love your work! The attention to detail would not be possible without the passion and dedication to the work! Understanding how weather and time affect the materials and the wet environment works against us is something conveyed only through personal experience or this type of experience. Again, value that is not easily explained. Thanks so much for sharing! Crafts MAN is an underrated title!

Great series and a great boat! I’m curious about your fastener choice. Looks like you used stainless self tapping for the new rails and I believe the planking is bronze fastened. Any concern about galvanic corrosion? Maybe not an issue this far above the waterline?

Looks very nice. What species of wood did you use for the rub rails? Why didn’t you caulk behind the entire rub rails but only at the screws?
