2015 restoration by the International Yacht Restoration School (IYRS) in Newport, RI. Ballast-up restoration including many new oak frames and mahogany planking, new deck, new spars, new running and standing rigging, and new Nat Wilson sails. The boat has been sailed very little since the restoration. In 2018 the boat received all new bottom and topside paint, as well as new varnish. CHANCE is in Bristol condition and is a real “headturner”. CHANCE is in the water in mid-coast Maine near Camden.
