We went in 2016. It was awesome! We got out on the water several times – the highlights were sailing to Dournenez with the huge fleet of boats on the last day of the Brest festival and sailing with Francois Vivier on his Pen-Hir during the Bastille Day fireworks. The food was great, the people were great – we’d love to go again!

I spent two weeks working on the radar on Le Monge when she was in dry dock at Brest. It is one of my favorite places on earth. The French Navy guys and gals were great and the folks I met were awesome. I wish I could go this summer for the festival. I’ll be tuning in to your coverage.
