Like most boats by Pete Culler, the Good Little Skiff is hefty, yet elegant, and her narrow bottom makes for easy rowing. Flared sides give enough beam for decent-length oars. The raking transom adds to her handsomeness, but not adaptable to an outboard.

Ben Fuller says:
I didn’t see that you had downrated its initial stability. Built as designed she is highly stable but like all the pointy ended dinghies requires care when going over the bow from a float.
Ben Fuller says:
Having owned a GLS for years, they are great for messing about but make lousy dinghies for anything more than going out to your mooring and back. Pete didn’t include a forward rowing station; I have a removable seat so I can go forward to balance a passenger. One of the great things about sailing these is that in smooth water sailing you don’t need to bother taking along a rudder.
