I hear we have El Nino to thank for this warm and easy January! It’s been great weather for working outdoors—temperature in the 40’s and some days higher. The first snow hit just a few weeks ago and did not last very long, but we finally got a blizzard last Friday that left BONNY BRIDE without power; a tree had fallen on the cable. It’s all fixed no, so here’s an update on progress.

Sure was fun reading all nine of your entries. Have always wanted a lobster boat to toodle around on. Don’t think I will get there this time around though. They look quite seaworthy and as always, design by function works best.

Wow! A very lucky man indeed. Great to hear about the progress on BB and that Willits has joined the project. Loved his recent WB article–no fuss outdoor boatbuilding–“beauty in simplicity” “the saved and salvaged is often superior”. How soon will you be launching her?
