Brooklin Boat Yard – Cirrus gets hauled out

Fall has arrived in Brooklin Maine and the fleet is slowly making it's way out of Center Harbor and into winter storage. It offers a unique chance to have a look at these beauties out of the water. We have a full winters work ahead of us in the main shop. Withe the success of Lark, a 47' sloop built last winter we have orders for two more. There is also a new 70' sloop undreway all scheduled for delivery next summer. I hope once a week I can have a walk around and give you an inside look at what has shaped up to be a spectacular winter. Cirrus, shown above is a Nat Herreshoff designed Fishers Island 31, built in 19??. She is the queen of the fleet, and has graced the waters of Center Harbor longer than any other boat we take care of.
